How to send Airtime from Safaricom to Airtel, Sambaza, Bundles, and Top-Up

How to send Airtime from Safaricom to Airtel.

To purchase Airtel Airtime from Safaricom M-pesa, follow the steps highlighted below

  • While on your Safaricom sim card, go to the sim tool kit and select M-pesa
  • Select lipa na M-pesa
  • Choose PayBill option
  • Enter business Nuber (220 220)
  • Then enter the Account no (The account no is your Airtel number in this format 07xxxxxx______)
  • Enter the amount of airtime you wish to purchase
  • Enter your M-Pesa pin then press send
  • Confirm your details and press ok

You will receive an m-pesa confirmation message and at the same time another confirmation message from Airtel  with a message from chap chap confirming that you have successfully purchased airtime.

How to Sambaza Airtel credit to another number

May be you are asking yourself how you can sambaza airtime from Airtel sim card to Safaricom sim card; you have your Airtel sim card with loaded airtime and at the same time you have your Safaricom sim card that has zero credit then you are wondering how you can sambaza the airtime in Airtel sim card to Safaricom sim card, this is how you will do it

  • On your Airtel sim tool kit choose Airtel  services
  • Click on the menu Me2u
  • On the next step choose Tuma airtime
  • Enter the amount you wish to sambaza
  • Then enter the number that you want to sambaza the credit to and select send
  • Enter your Airtel pin number then confirm in your Safaricom sim card if the credit has appeared
How to buy Prepaid Airtel bundles  

It is simply a repetition of procedures above.

It is an easy procedure and all you have to do is to follow the following procedure

  • While on your Safaricom sim card, go to the sim tool kit and select M-pesa
  • Select lipa na M-pesa
  • Choose PayBill option
  • Enter business Number (220 220)
  • Then enter the Account no (The account no is your Airtel number in this format 07xxxxxx______)
  • Enter the amount of airtime you wish to purchase
  • Enter your M-Pesa pin then press send
  • Confirm your details and press

 

How to buy PostPaid Airtel  bundles

It is just similar steps mentioned above

  • While on your Safaricom sim card, go to the sim tool kit and select m-pesa
  • Select lipa na m-pesa
  • Choose PayBill option
  • Enter business Number (220 220)
  • Then enter the Account no (The account no is your Airtel number in this format 07xxxxxx______)
  • Enter the amount of airtime you wish to purchase
  • Enter your M-Pesa pin then press send
  • Confirm your details and press ok

How to purchase Airtel bundles from M-Pesa  menu

It is almost the similar step endorsed when purchasing Airtel  airtime from M-Pesa  menu. simply follow the following step by step procedures but now after purchasing the airtime you can proceed ahead to purchase the data bundle.

  • While on your sim toolkit select M-Pesa
  • Choose lipa na M-Pesa
  • Choose PayBill option
  • Enter business Number (220 220)
  • Enter account number (your Airtel number)
  • Enter the amount of airtime to purchase
  • Enter M-Pesa pin and select ok
  • After purchasing the airtime, go to your Airtel sim card and on your USSD code type*544# and select the data bundle option of your preferred choice

 

How to send money from Safaricom M-Pesa to Airtel money account

 Follow the steps below to carry out the transaction

  • On dial pad, dial *334#
  • Then select option 1 Send Money
  • Then select 4  Send Money to other Network
  • Then enter the Airtel number which you wish to send the amount to followed by the amount that you would want to send
  • Then enter pin then wait for a confirmation notification from Safaricom M-pesa.

  • Then select option 1 which is send money
  • Select option 2 which Is send money to M-pesa

  • Gently stretch the card to real the 16-digit code
  • On your phone dial pad, dial *130# then the 16-digit pin followed by #
  • Press the call baton and wait for a message to pop up on the screen showing you the airtime you have loaded and the and new airtime balance

Note: while loading the airtime, ensure that no other individual whose is peeping your 16-digit pin.

    With this service you are able to convert airtime from one network to another network. For example it’s now possible to switch your Safaricom airtime to Telkom/Airtel .
