Reversing money send to wrong Pay Bill/Till  number by calling Safaricom customer care

If you accidentally send money to a wrong pay bill number, then call out Safaricom care unit by dialing *100# or *234# and requests Safaricom to carry out the reversal process, which takes a maximum of 24 hours or 48 hours. Safaricom does this by calling the merchant who received the money wrongly and then requests  the merchant to return the funds to the recipient.

Alternatively, you can get what had been sent to the wrong pay bill number back by calling the receiver merchant directly. To achieve this, call Safaricom at 191 to get the number of the merchant.
