Yellow Card Kenya Wallet Guide, Registration, Login, and Contacts

The technological world has advanced rapidly over the years, resulting in the rise of digital currency. Crypto is secured using cryptography to ensure that unauthorized people do not have access to other people’s information. This way, you do not have to stress about the possibility of someone accessing your crypto coins without your knowledge.

One of the most successful types of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin which came into being in 2008. A Bitcoin holder can exchange it for their preferred currency or use it to acquire goods and services from sellers who accept digital currency as a form of payment.

Also, one can choose to take cryptocurrency as an investment opportunity involving buying and selling crypto. However, you should know that, with this engagement, there is no guarantee that you’ll earn massively.

Yellow Card is an exchange platform that allows traders to sell and buy Bitcoin in Kenya. Also, coins can be sent from one wallet or another, provided the receiver gives the sender their wallet address.

It is used by traders in Kenya, the United States, South Africa, Uganda, Malawi, Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania, among other countries.

Before diving into the Crypto trading business, take note of the pros and cons listed below:

Pros
  • High security

This business is secure, as the transaction can only happen upon the buyer’s or seller’s approval. As such, do not worry that Bitcoin in your wallet will end up in another’s wallet without receiving the equivalent amount of money.

  • Transparency

You can see all completed and pending transactions that happen with your consent through Blockchain technology. Therefore, there is no need to worry about the possibility of someone altering your transaction.

Cons
  • Cyber security threats

Regardless of the security measures that have been put in place, cryptocurrency is digital and vulnerable to cyber security threats. For instance, if the device you’re using to access your crypto exchange platform is infected with malware, there is a probability that hackers will get your login details and transact without your knowledge, so you must be alert.

  • Volatility

As hinted earlier, you can gain or lose substantially when trading Bitcoin, for instance. One day Bitcoin may be worth a lot of money when changed into your currency, and the same could change in a few hours, so you must be ready to deal with such unpredictable fluctuations.
