You can get a skiza tune in your mobile phone by dialing *811#. Various options will be displayed and you can choose a skiza tune from various categories: skiza top tunes, Christian prayer alert, gospel tunes, today in history, Islamic prayer alerts, funny, Catholic skiza tunes, and many more.
Alternatively, you can download the skiza tune by searching for the specific names of songs or artists.
- Dial *811#
- Select the “MORE” option.
- Either select the Search by song title or artist name

Skiza Tune Code
Safaricom has a constant skiza code followed by specific numbers of a particular song. Usually, the skiza code begins with *811# then followed by digits of a specific song.
For example, sending 7195627 to 811 gives a skiza tune “Napokea kwako” by Christina Shuso and Janet Otieno.
How to unsubscribe from Skiza tune
Sometimes you often get bored entertaining your callers with recurrent skiza tunes. In fact, they are costly, since you pay Ksh 1 per day for a local skiza tune and Ksh 1.50 per international skiza tune, amounting to a minimum of Ksh 365 a year.
Removing them will enable you to save some pennies, and here’s how to go about it.
- Dial *811# to open the skiza tune Menu to display various options.
- Select the “Manage my tunes” and press send
- Select “Skiza tune” from the options that appear on your screen
- Choose the skiza tune you want to remove from your device
- Click on “send”
You can also unsubscribe using an SMS code. Simply send the word “Delete” followed by a skiza code to 811. For instance, Delete 2080008 to 811.
It is important to note that once you remove the skiza tune from your mobile phone, it will not appear again. However, you can retrieve it by downloading it in future if interested.
